I am a playwright, photographer and digital installation artist. I write scripts, lyrics, short stories, fiction. I take and make art photographs, and shoot performance documentation. I make theatre performance projection, and as The Little Theatre of Miniature Ghosts, I design miniature audio-visual installations in Photoshop and After Effects.
I have an MA in Creative Writing, an MA in Illustration, and a PhD in Writing. I am a Professor in Theatre Praxis at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk, England, where I teach multimedia performance to undergraduates, and practice-as-research methodologies to postgraduate and PhD students.
I am a co-author of The Road to Somewhere (2013, Palgrave Macmillan) with Robert Graham, and a contributor to several of his other creative writing books.
